"To Infinity... And Beyond!"

I’ll never forget meeting each of the kindred spirits I call my brothers from up on, and around Armlin Hill Road.

Those gone too soon and those here driven to make music still today through adversities  of biblical proportions.

The first brother I met was Machito Budhai. A true story teller and guitar maniac, who is dearly missed!  Machito introduced me to Bill Smith and his musical mountain cabin where I met and jammed with some of  the baddest dudes I’ve ever known:

Todd Duke,

Kermit Armlin,

Chris Duke,

Machito Budhai,

Joe yung

and still I arrived  out of time missing the Shades of Grey glory days. Hearing tales of incredible shows and large gatherings .

I later met two men who have become not only mentors, benefactors and musical collaborators  Floyd Armlin, Aaron Foland,  who along with Joe Yung, from the tribe of awesome, have lifted me after I had fallen in True Brother Fashion

We had lost touch and I  was in my second year of rehab rebuilding from scratch; literally from scratch! Well dear readers I’ll tell all who will listen: Prayers Do Get Answered. I asked G_d the father to help me find my way, and up popped Aaron Foland, Floyd Armlin and Joe Yung!  They brought me back into being again by donating music equipment and showing faith in someone who had little in himself at the time.

Since we reconnected I have been brought into the legendary Shades of Grey as a bass  noodler. A challenge and absolute honor! This project has been a journey of learning and self discovery like I had never known until my 57th year of earth hopping. For me this is so much more than the music it’s a piece of my heart and who I am today.

What? Me Worry?
